DEPARTMENT OF THE TREASURY PORTAL REGISTRATION AND AUTHENTICATION


 

Who can use the Department of the Treasury Portal?

All external entities, public administrations and private parties who need to make use of applications developed by the Department of the Treasury in order to fulfil their obligations.
At present, the application available on the Portal for foreign users is that regarding the obligations of Specialists in government bonds.

I am a foreigner who needs to register to use the Department of the Treasury Portal. What is the procedure to be followed?

You must submit your request to the Department of the Treasury. For the Specialists in government bonds the request must be submitted to the Directorate II Office II (e-mail is dt.specialists.titoli@tesoro.it), and await communication of the Portal access account.

 

The User will receive at the e-mail address two different confirmation e-mail from SSO@pec.mef.gov.it : the first one confirms the registration, the second one containing username and a password, automatically generated by the system, of the account. During the first access to the Portal using username and password previously sent, the User has to modify the password automatically generated by the system. Furthermore, the User has to select and answer to a “secret question”, to be used during the process to recover password and/or username. To do it, the User has to access to the portal, select the link “User profile”, fill in the “Secret question” and “Secret answer” fields and then save the form.

I am already a User of an application of the Department of the Treasury. What do I need to do?

All Users registered to use applications of the Department of the Treasury who already have access through the Department of the Treasury Portal, have received at the e-mail address, communicated at the time of the previous registration, an e-mail message containing the username and password of the account for accessing the Portal.

I am trying to access the Department of the Treasury Portal by using my account, but the authentication does not work. What is the reason and what is the solution?

The access account in your possession are not correct. You need to click on "Support Request" in the menu on the left side of the Portal home page and choose "Technical reporting" in the first drop-down menu, "Portal" in the second drop-down menu, and "Access problems" in the final drop-down menu. A form will appear; fill in all of the fields of the e-mail message that the system will automatically send with the change request. Username and password for accessing the Portal will be sent directly to the personal e-mail address indicated.

RECOVERY OF THE PASSWORD AND THE USER NAME


 

I forgot the password for accessing the Department of the Treasury Portal. What do I need to do?

Click on " Password Recovery " in the menu on the left side of the Portal home page, and indicate your username and then answer the secret question. The system will automatically send an e-mail message containing the new password. At this point, it is once again possible to do the authentication to the Portal with your username and the new password.
